Terms of Service

1. What LOBBY is

LOBBY helps players arrange gaming sessions in advance. You post a session with a game, a time, a platform, a language and a number of open spots, and other players join it. LOBBY is run by a private individual, identified in the Imprint.

2. Alpha status

LOBBY is pre-release software. Features can change or disappear, the service can be unavailable, and data may occasionally need to be reset between versions. Please report problems. That is what the alpha is for.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your LOBBY account and for keeping your Google account secure. Your account follows your Google account, not a particular phone, but LOBBY runs on one device at a time. You must be at least 18 years old to use LOBBY.

4. Acceptable use

Keep what you post lawful and respectful. You must not:

• harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful or sexual content;
• use sessions or chat for advertising, scams, account trading or selling cheats;
• impersonate another person, or a game or its publisher;
• post automatically, scrape other users’ data, or try to break or overload the service.

5. Your content

You are responsible for your sessions, profile and chat messages. They stay yours. You allow LOBBY to store them and show them to other users as the app is designed to, for as long as your account exists.

6. Attendance

Participants can mark who turned up to a session. Your profile shows the resulting percentage. It is a record of participation, not a rating of you as a person.

7. Intellectual property

The LOBBY app, name and design belong to the operator. Game names and cover images belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify which game a session is for. LOBBY is not affiliated with any game publisher.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using LOBBY and request account deletion at any time. The operator may restrict or suspend accounts that break these terms, and warns first where that is reasonable. If you think a restriction is a mistake, write to support@joinlobbyapp.com and it will be reviewed.

9. Updates

During the alpha, new versions are published as APK files on joinlobbyapp.com. Install LOBBY only from that address. Older versions may stop working once the backend changes.

10. No warranty, limitation of liability

LOBBY is provided free of charge and as-is during the alpha. LOBBY arranges contact between players but is not a party to what happens in a game or a session. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your profile and the data connected to it, as described in the Privacy Policy. See the Delete account page for how to request it.
